Sailing is not about racing just one small part of it. Not knowing general rules, like bigger boat passes on the leeward side, harder to maneuver boat has ride of way., (even to know or identify that they actually are). Not using channel 16 in the three minute stillness after the hour and ½ hr? Just teaching to make money rather when things to know are understood, being aware when to offer help, etc. Good writing though
